William (Bill) Abraham
Governance
Bill has run his own successful export trade business for 45 years and has extensive experience as a professional director. He has been an investor in the aged care sector for over 20 years.
He brings extensive business experience and sound commercial knowledge to the group. Community minded and supportive of fundraising projects, Bill has been instrumental in fundraising initiatives for our aged care populations, including the recent Warkworth Wellsford Hospice building project.

Gina Langlands
Governance
Gina has worked at a senior level for a number of aged care providers including Bupa Care Services, Summerset, Heritage Lifecare and the Winton Group. She has been a member of the Expert Advisory Group for the Health Quality & Safety Commission and was previously Director of Quality and Risk at Bupa Care Services NZ.
Career highlights include the development of both a Competency Assessment Programme for internationally trained nurses and a Professional Development and Recognition Programme for qualified nurses working in Bupa care homes approved by the Nursing Council of NZ. In addition, she played a significant role in the creation of the National Dementia Co-operative of NZ.
She has a passion for quality improvement and quality assurance and to ensure care home staff are provided with systems and processes that support them in their work.

Kevin Weston
Governance
Kevin has over 25 years’ experience in owning and running successful businesses. His background is mainly in the travel and tourism industry, taking a small company to become a NZ chain and have a global presence. His skills are in the area of governance, global, acquisition and growing companies. Kevin sold the business to an overseas stock exchange global business in 2018.
Since retiring from business Kevin has been the President and Chairman of the Omaha Golf Club and Community Centre, worked with the Graeme Dingle Foundation helping the youth of NZ, and helping mentor small and large businesses from founders and owners to Board members.
Kevin holds postgraduate qualifications in Marketing, Business and Information Technology. He is passionate about the aged care sector after looking after his grandfather and parents over the last 20 years.

Peter Leathem
Managing Director
Peter has held a number of senior management positions including GM and COO roles within Guardian Healthcare, Qualcare, BUPA, Oceania Healthcare and Heritage Lifecare, some of the largest aged care operators in New Zealand.
In these roles, Peter was responsible for the planning and operation of more than 156 care homes nationally. Prior to entering the private sector, Peter held several senior public service roles within the Regional Health and Health Funding Authorities, with budget accountability in excess of $900m.
His extensive experience and business nous is matched by his passion for the future of the aged care sector and engagement with our residents, staff and stakeholders.

Virginia Sisson
General Manager – Clinical and Operations
Virginia brings over 30 years of extensive experience in the aged care sector, having held Executive and Senior management positions across a wide range of aged care providers in both New Zealand and Australia, more recently was Head of Aged Care Operations for NZ listed operator, MetLifecare. Throughout her career, Virginia has developed a comprehensive skill set that spans Clinical practice as a Registered Nurse and Operational management. This dual expertise has provided her with a deep understanding of the standards expected in daily Care Home delivery.
Virginia is committed and leads with the core values of our organisation, consistently prioritising and ensuring we have excellence in care and that we exceed the established standards in our Care Homes. Currently, she is leveraging her extensive knowledge and experience at New Zealand Aged Care Services Limited, where she plays a key role in leading our operations team.

Grace Wang
General Manager – Finance
Grace has over ten years’ experience in the New Zealand aged care sector, managing the financial and management accounting functions across the NZACS group.
Additional strengths include providing financial insight and analysis to optimise the overall financial performance of our business. Grace’s supportive relationships with our Care Home Managers sees her as a much valued team player, enabling our wider staff to get on with what they do best.
Grace holds a Master of Professional Accounting, from Victoria University, a Master of Business (Finance) from Lincoln University, and is a member of the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ).

Adam Isa
General Manager – Developments and Villages
Adam’s extensive operational experience has spanned everything from retail through to healthcare. Running his own business for ten years he took out the Westpac Business Awards for Northland in Customer Service, before applying his operational knowledge and experience to the banking industry and its agricultural and commercial property sectors.
Working for one of the largest lenders in Australasia, Adam helped guide staff and customers through the unprecedented operational needs of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Adam’s operational knowledge is matched only by his passion at NZ Aged Care Services to deliver quality care to older generation New Zealanders who have contributed so much to creating the country we live in.

Con Vanniekerk
Senior Human Resources Advisor
With a background in Healthcare, Con has held various positions in aged care that have provided her with a wide range of experience in process and policy-related matters. She is a skilled communicator who offers valuable insights into our business needs.
Dedicated to fostering a positive workplace culture at NZ Aged Care Services, Con ensures that our employee benefits and performance management systems are effectively supporting all team members.
Additionally, Con holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business with a major in Human Resources and Employment Relations from Auckland University of Technology.
